MESSAGE FROM THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS 

Please be advised: The DPW will be working at the Monroe Street Lot, on both Thursday, April 24th and Friday, April 25th. Residents are welcome to dispose of brush only on those days, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.

The Monroe Street Lot is the intersection of Monroe Street and School Street. It is important to note: an attendant will be onsite during these hours; residents are requested to ensure their disposal items contain brush only.


Message from the Pembroke Department of Public Works: Wood chips are available to Pembroke residents at no charge. Residents may pick them up at the DPW Barn located at 387 Mattakeesett Street between the hours of 8:00 am and 3:00 pm and they will be loaded into your vehicle.


 

Please be advised: The Town of Pembroke is seeking plow contractors for the
2013-2014 snow season. Rates very from $ 61.00 to $ 84.00 per hour.
Must have at a minimum an eight (8) Foot Plow.

SNOW REMOVAL REGULATIONS
FOR
2013–2014 WINTER

. Please be advised:

The Pembroke D.P.W. is reminding all Town residents that there will be Salted Sand available outside the gate at the Town Shed, 387 Mattakeesett Street for emergency use this winter.

When snow is forecast, residents are asked to keep all parked vehicles off streets that are plowed by the Town to expedite snow plowing and sanding operations. Vehicles obstructing sanding and plowing operations will be towed at owner’s expense. No one other than a town employee or contractor hired by the Town may shovel, snow-blow or plow ice or snow onto a roadway in such a way that it impedes traffic. The Town is not responsible for damaged mailboxes, driveway aprons, walkways, stonewalls, grassed areas, shrubs, trees, fences, planters or barrels within the Town Layout.
