· DOER Programs - Green Communities Act (GCA) – DOER has a format for energy by-law; Nick to talk with Building Inspector and will give him the updated template

· Energy Audit Program –Add Library to building list. Also, on Tuesday, May 19, 10:30-12, Rise Engineering will be here, will work with Bay State Gas for audits on Community Center (with Brian).

· Federal Stimulus – May 15 will be a webinar about how the federal dollars will be prioritized. One program will allow for standardized reports from energy companies that will measure energy usage for towns; could make measuring energy consumption much easier.

· Energy Performance Contracting – Discussion of investment grade audit vs. scoping audit. Nick to contact Northampton to see why they chose a scoping audit rather than the investment grade. Also, what went into their decisions on building choices.

Brian suggested walk through of different town buildings that are potentials for audit so EC members can get an idea of what is needed in each setting. Brian to coordinate visits at possible sites: DPW, main Firehouse, Police Dept., Water pumping stations, Community Center. Will arrange as many as possible for May 21, 2009, at 9 a.m. All committee members invited to attend.
