PEMBROKE ENERGY COMMITTEE MINUTES
October 14, 2008
Present: Alan Peterson, Don Anderson, Richard Jones, Nick Zechello, chair, Anne Marie Stanton.
-Nick opened the meeting at 6:30 pm
Reviewed minutes from September meeting, accepted.
Conservation:
Power Options members 11/7 meeting; Nick could not attend. Committee reviewed a copy of the DOER Green Communities Act presentation.
Performance Contracts:
Selectmen gave the Energy Comm. the go-ahead to do the RFQ for ESCO. Looking for projects/buildings that would make up the scope of the project.
Committee reviewed draft RFQ examples.
Energy Audit
Needs benchmarking for all buildings in town so we can decide if there are enough projects/savings to make the contract work. Kathy Stanley (Johnson Controls) will assist us in benchmarking all the buildings; the EC can then determine if feasible.
Rob Tocci came to speak to EC regarding upcoming forum on energy conservation and saving money. Will be held in Pembroke Public Library on December 3. This will feature contractors, vendors, etc. who are involved in energy conservation.
