Pembroke beaches: there are three public beaches where swimming is allowed. No permit or sticker is required. Lifeguards are not available at all beaches at all times, at which times swimming is at own risk. The beaches are : Town Landing, Little Sandy Bottom Pond, and Stetson Beach.

The following holidays are observed by DelPrete and Sons when they fall on regular days of trash collection, Monday through Friday, only: New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King Day, President’s Day, Patriot’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veteran’s Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.

Martin Luther King Day, President’s Day, Memorial Day, Labor Day and Columbus Day are all nationally observed Monday holidays.
Patriots Day is a civic holiday in Massachusetts observed on the third Monday in April. Thanksgiving Day is a nationally observed holiday on the fourth Thursday in November.
The remaining four holidays, New Year’s Day, Independence Day, Veteran’s Day and Christmas Day are celebrated on their actual date.

In the event of a holiday during the trash collection week, trash collections from that holiday’s day or date will be made the following day and all other collections made that week will be one day later.
