Due to the flooding caused by the recent storms, many residents have an extra large volume of household items that have been destroyed.  In order for DelPrete to pickup the extra non-recyclable items placed in trash bags from the curb, residents are required to bring their driver’s license to the Board of Health office to receive a sticker to place on the extra bags of trash before their next trash pick up day.  They are allowed up to 20 extra bags over and above the maximum 4 barrels.  They may do this only 2 times before June 30, 2010.  Only one large non-recyclable item will be picked up each week at the curb.  Also, any ruined carpeting may be taken to the recycling center for disposal.  You will be asked the dimensions of the carpet and pay the fee according to those dimensions.  Residents must have a current recycling sticker to use the center.  The recycling center is for Pembroke residents’ use only.   If you have any questions, please call 781-293-3844 or 781-293-2718.
