The Board of Selectmen voted at their Wednesday, February 4, 2015 meeting to accept as a permanent schedule the ten-month trial period for Monday evening Town Hall hours. The Pembroke Town Hall will be open on Monday from 8:30 am to 7:00 pm. The Tuesday through Friday schedule remains from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. 

Offices will close for the evening at 7:00 pm and the regular meetings of the town’s boards, committees and commissions will begin at their regularly scheduled times. Some of the current meeting times include: 

5:30 pm:           DPW Commissioners, every two weeks at 91 Glenwood Road
5:30 pm:           Board of Assessors, every two weeks at Town Hall, Room #15
6:30 pm:           Board of Health, every two weeks at Town Hall, Room #12
7:00 pm:           Board of Selectmen, every Monday at Town Hall, Veteran’s Hall
7:30 pm:           Planning Board, every two weeks at Town Hall, Room #4
7:30 pm:           Zoning Board of Appeals, every two weeks at Town Hall, Veteran’s Hall
7:30 pm:           Conservation Commission every Monday at Town Hall, Room #10

Passports are processed at Town Hall in the Town Administrator’s office daily from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm.

The fee paid to the State Dept varies with the type of service requested; please see this listing of passport fees.  Please note that the Town fee is a separate check of $25.00 per application; as set by the State Dept. (Passport Agency.)

Download an application ( and complete questions 1 through 21 in black ink and DO NOT SIGN APPLICATION until you come to the office.

New passports require original, long-form birth certificates or original naturalization papers.

Photographs are not available at town hall, residents must bring two 2" by 2" passport photographs when they submit the application.

All applicants using the DS-11passport application must be seen by the passport acceptance agent, including children under age 16 years, who should be accompanied by *two parents. This information is stated on the front of the DS-11 under Special Requirements for Children and reads: “As Directed By Regulation 22 C.F.R. 51.21 and 51.28: Each minor child applying for a U.S. passport book and/or passport card must appear in person.”  Children age 16 and 17 years should be accompanied by one parent.

*If only one parent is available to accompany a child under age 16 years, please refer to the front of the DS-11 where it reads Special Requirements for Children and read the requirements for the use of either a DS-3053 or DS-5525 to go along with the DS-11 passport application.

The Town of Pembroke accepts all forms and license applications connected with alcohol licenses now available on the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Alcoholic Beverages Control Commission’s website.

Please follow the instructions, fill out the forms, print them out and bring them into the office of the Board of Selectmen. Please note the final page of attachments and ensure that the forms are complete as incomplete applications are likely to be rejected.

The Town of Pembroke has no quota for on-premises, or Section 12, pouring licenses for restaurants.
