   PEMBROKE, MASSACHUSETTS      JUNE 23, 2012

              QUESTION 1. Shall the Town of Pembroke be allowed to assess an additional $343,000 in real estate and personal property taxes for the purposes of hiring four (4) additional full-time firefighter/paramedics for the Fire Department?

                        Yes                                                      No

Explanation: A Yes Vote is to Hire

                      A No Vote is not to Hire

 

            QUESTION 2. Shall the Town of Pembroke be allowed to assess an additional $686,992 in real estate and personal property taxes for the purposes of hiring eight (8) additional full-time firefighter/paramedics for the Fire Department?

                        Yes                                                      No

Explanation: A Yes Vote is to Hire.

                        A  No Vote is Not to Hire                            

 

            QUESTION 3. Shall the Town of Pembroke be allowed to assess an additional $61,074 in real estate and personal property taxes for the purposes of funding a line item for a Generalist Reference Librarian salary in the Library’s FY13 budget?

                        Yes                                                      No

Dog license renewals :

2011 Dog license’s are available in the Town Clerk’s Office between the hours of 9 am and 4 pm and Monday nights 7 pm to 9 pm. Must have Rabies Certificate. If you have any questions, call the office.

Male and Female : $12.00 
Neutered and Spayed : $9.00
 
LATE FEE OF $ 25.00 CHARGED AFTER September 1, 2011.

Town of Pembroke by-laws state all dogs must be on a leash.
